Sean purchased this 1999 Pontiac Trans Am in 2009 after previously owning an LT1-powered Trans Am and developing a lasting appreciation for the fourth-generation F-Body platform. What began as a daily driver gradually evolved through multiple stages as his experience, goals, and vision for the car continued to grow.

Over the years, the Trans Am has been upgraded, reworked, and refined into a far more serious street build while still retaining the character that made Sean fall in love with the platform in the first place. It has since been retired from daily-driver duty and now serves as a long-term personal project and a showcase of the kind of thoughtful, integrated vehicle development Sunday Spec is built around.

Its current combination features a forged 408ci LS engine, manual transmission, and Huron Speed twin-turbo system. On 9 psi and 93-octane fuel, the car produces more than 800 wheel horsepower, with the full build details outlined below.
