At Sunday Spec, we stand behind the quality of our work. When we handle your installation or service in-house, we guarantee our labor for 12 months from the date the job is finished. This applies regardless of how many miles you drive in that time.
The Scope of Coverage
This warranty covers the quality of the labor performed by our team.
- Workmanship vs. Parts: If a part fails because of an installation error, we will cover the labor and any related damage to that part.
- Manufacturer Defects: If a part fails due to a defect from the manufacturer, Sunday Spec does not cover the labor to diagnose, remove, or replace it.
- Warranty Support: We will help you facilitate a claim with the part manufacturer whenever possible, but any replacement parts are subject to that manufacturer's specific terms.
Requirements and Exclusions
To keep your warranty valid, the vehicle must be maintained according to OEM or Sunday Spec specifications. This warranty is only for the original customer and the specific vehicle we serviced.
We do not cover:
- Normal wear and tear or "abnormal stress" on the vehicle.
- Damage from accidents, neglect, or lack of proper fluid levels.
- Issues caused by repairs or adjustments made by anyone other than Sunday Spec.
- Electrical problems unrelated to our original work.
- Costs for towing, storage, rental cars, or lost time.
Performance and Racing
Sunday Spec builds are meant to perform, but extreme environments carry high risks. This warranty is void if the vehicle is used for:
- Racing or drifting.
- Track days or timed events.
- Off-road competition or any similar high-stress driving.
How to Start a Claim
If you think there is an issue with our workmanship, you must contact us immediately.
- Transport: You are responsible for getting the vehicle to our shop for inspection.
- Diagnostics: We charge a standard diagnostic fee upfront. If we determine the issue is due to our workmanship, we will waive that fee and handle the repair. If the issue is caused by a part defect, user error, or outside damage, the customer is responsible for the diagnostic fee and any repair costs.
- Authorization: We do not reimburse for repairs done at other shops. All warranty work must be authorized by us in writing or performed at our facility.
